SERESTO COLLAR RECALL?
In the news have been reports of Seresto Collars causing harmful reactions to pets. Unfortunately the reactions can come from Seresto products that are purchased by unauthorized retailers and may be fake collars with unknown and unregulated ingredients.
At Killian Hill Animal Hospital, it is our highest priority to use safe materials and products on your pets, we still stand by the Seresto collar when purchased from our clinic. We ensure that our collars are purchased directly from Elanco and shipped straight to us!
Below is an article from the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association about the reports.

COVID Information
To The Friends and Family of Killian Hill Animal Hospital,
WE ARE STILL OPEN!
Following CDC recommendations, we will be doing our part in taking precautionary measures in protecting our community and staff. At this time, the CDC reports, "We do not have any evidence that companion animals, including pets, can spread COVID-19".
With this in mind we want you to know, WE ARE HERE. We will remain open to assist you with your veterinary needs. For the protection of our clients and staff, Killian Hill Animal Hospital will be taking precautions regarding the human attached to the other end of the leash or cat carrier. As always we will continue to diligently keep our hospital clean and sanitized while following some additional guidelines recommended by the CDC. We have also implemented some helpful suggestions and services to help maintain social distancing. With schools closed, we understand that not all families can adhere, but if possible, we ask that only ONE healthy authorized adult accompany the patient to the examination/appointment.
Many persons with COVID-19 may experience mild symptoms such as cough and a runny nose without a fever. We ask that you use caution when deciding whether or not to bring in your pet. Please reach out to us by phone or email if you feel that you should not enter our hospital. While emailed pictures and videos of your pet's symptoms do not replace an actual physical exam, we will try to help our clients with their fur babies in this manner if the situation seems necessary. We will be offering "Curb-Side" pick up for food and medications. Please let our receptionist know if you would like to take advantage of this service. Please call ahead for prescription refills so that we can everything ready for you to pick up to enhance social distancing.
Please give as much information as possible regarding your pet's symptoms and your appointment expectations when you are calling our receptionist to make the appointment. Also, let us know at that time if you need any medications or food. This will help limit the amount of close interaction time in our exam rooms.
We ask that everyone do their best in adhering to social distancing while visiting the hospital. Our lobby and exam rooms are not large.
Please be kind to your neighbor and keep safe.
We will keep you updated on any changes as the occur.
